Prometheus in the audience stand at Comic-Con event was spoiled with the first exclusive images of the movie who brings the return of Alien universe from Ridley Scott.

The first official image of the Prometheus 2012 was released at the same time, and a preview of an exclusive Prometheus teaser trailer, which we hope to get online, later today or tomorrow. It has been speculated much on account of images that shown below, the fact is that it looks that get you thinking back to the classic film Alien.

Images from the Prometheus trailer presented appear to be a short assembly, which does not reveal too many details, Michael Fassbender in a form that seems to be a robot and exploring some mysterious biological artifacts wearing a yellow visor, Charlize Theron doing pushups at shirtless and who later appears in a frame that is holding a flamethrower, and finally a piece of a huge cavern filled with what appear to be creatures of xenomorphe famous eggs.

Aspect Ratio present in the trailer seem to be placed in the Alien universe, from the famous sleeping rooms, corridors that resembles those on the ship Nostromo, to the final title card Prometheus, who looks strikingly familiar with the title font Alien.

In the event presentation, writer Damon Lindelof and Charlize Theron answered questions from the public and held lectures on film, but then appear and director Scott Ridely Noomi Rapace, by satellite from Iceland, where the director still filming.



Charlize Theron said that her role is unusual for her, suggesting that she is more a machine than a human. When asked by the public if there are robots in the movie Prometheus, Ridely Scott said there may be two robots, not just one. He continued to say that the idea of robots, cyborgs and replicated became an important part of sci-fi landscape, the challenge is now greater by creating some new characters.


Surrounded by a complete mystery, the new project from director Ridley Scott was more than a secret for all fans who hoped to continue the series of Alien movies, but proved ultimately another film with deep links recover in movies created by Scott who became a classic sci-fi.

It seems that the actors involved in the project were asked to sign and agreement regarding disclosure to the media. Director has not revealed any idea about this new concept, and went on to say that we finally understand how the film refers to the last minutes of the film Alien.

With an official synopsis that could beat all records of ambiguity, future sci-fi movie Prometheus has a main topic that remains a mystery, except that has close ties with the classic Alien.

Prometheus already has a cast of great days with Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Noomi Rapace, Idris Elba, Guy Pearce, Ben Foster. Directed by Scott Ridely, Prometheus has a screenplay written by Damon Lindelof conceived and (Lost, Star Trek) will be released in 3D next year on June 9.

The Story of Prometheus

    Prometheus was known as the benefactor of mankind for his desire to assist mortals and give them many beneficial gifts that helped them to survive and live prosperous lives.  The son of Iapetos and Clymene, Prometheus was a god long before Zeus took the Throne of Eternity and was one of the few titans that did not fight against Zeus in the Titanomachy.

     Prometheus’ duty as a god was to form man from water and earth, and in doing so, gave them each a gift of strength or speed, craftiness or wisdom, and many other benefactors that improved their ways of living.  The most well-known gift of Prometheus was the gift of fire which Prometheus stole from Zeus’ lightening bolts.  He concealed the fire in a stalk of fennel, and then transported it man.  In addition to his betrayal to Zeus, Prometheus also divided slaughtered animals into two parts, one being fine meats and the other bones.  He wrapped them in such a way that the bag containing bones looked more desirable than the one with meat, and so the gods choose to have the one that contained the bones.  This trickery also maddened Zeus.

     In turn, Zeus presented to man a woman, who was named Pandora, and presented her as a bride to Prometheus’ bother Epimetheus.  A box with the strict instructions to never open it came with Pandora, and like a fool, Epimetheus disregarded his brother’s warning to not accept any gifts from Zeus and wedded Pandora.  Pandora opened the box when her husband was away and unleashed evils such as illnesses and labor to mankind.  In addition, however, to the horrors of Pandora’s Box, hope was released to the world, as well.

     Prometheus’ defiance and betrayal provoked Zeus to have him chained to Mount Caucasus, where an eagle ate daily from his ever-regenerating liver.  As an immortal Titan, Prometheus’ liver grew by night what the eagle had eaten the day before. 

     Some believe that he was granted release from his cruel immortality after Heracles shot the Centaur Chiron with a poisoned arrow.  As an immortal, Chiron was unable to die, but wished to, so Chiron offered himself to Zeus to be killed in the place of prometheus freedom.  Others believe that Prometheus shared valuable information in regards to Zeus’ future with Thetis, and when proved to be correct, Zeus showed his gratitude by sending Heracles to kill the eagle that ate Prometheus’ liver and set him free after thirty thousand years of torture.

Prometheus Movie 2012

Even Ridley Scott has just announced his new project will contain "Alien DNA" and will not be a full-fledged prequel to the famous series, it seems that Prometheus contains many elements familiar than at first sight appear.

Those from sky.com have revealed their sources that the new science fiction movie Prometheus are likely to go see "space jockey" (photo), but also the in the production xenomorphs signed by Ridley Scott, James Cameron, David Fincher and Jean-Pierre Jeunet. According to sky.com, Pinewood Studios has been rebuilt for shooting dead body "space jockey" team meeting led by Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) in Alien movie, made in 1979.

Sky.com sources confirmed that aliens such as those created by HR Giger will appear in the Prometheus and that their dimensions are impressive.

One possible topic of the movie would be this: Alien DNA remnants are found in Morocco, and their decoding will give the coordinates of a planet. As we are about 100 years into the future, and interspaces trips are possible, start looking for a ship that celestial body. Of course, the crew will get a lot of surprises once got there.

Prometheus movie will be launched in the summer of 2012.

Prometheus 2012 Movie

For his role in new film by Ridley Scott called Prometheus, Michael Fassbender has been in negotiations since last autumn. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the talks ended and the actor officially became part of the distribution.

The SF story ... "part of Alien's DNA" as Scott put it recently in an interview in which he spoke about his future project, the actor for 34 years will be an android and will play alongside Noomi rapacious, which will be the protagonist of the movie (Elizabeth Shaw), but possible, with Charlize Theron and Angelina Jolie, whom he has been offered the role of secondary female character named Vickers.

Until two weeks ago, Prometheus, production by Ridley Scott and writer Damon Lindelof (Lost, Star Trek) was known as Alien prequel future. But the two have redesigned the project, and already put on paper the new scenario of Lindelof, promises a story that will come with "original ideas, comprehensive and challenging."

Very few details were offered about the new project, but the enthusiasm of its creators and the distribution of places promising "new Alien" among the most anticipated films of next year. Release date has been moved to the United States in March, as was originally announced on June 3, 2012.

Prometheus 2012

After all the details economy that characterized Ridley Scott's production, Prometheus 2012, who told that is, in fact that's not a prequel to his film, Alien from 1979, those from 20th Century Fox launched a focused summary of the movie itself, designed to bring some light on production.

Profile sites, including Movieweb, took official information, as in a few hours ago, published what turned out to be just a series of rumors about space-jock's appearance and space travel.

Here, however, the producing studios had passed:

"Visionary filmmaker Ridley Scott returns to the genre he helped define, creating an original science fiction epic set in the most dangerous corners of the universe. The film takes a team of scientists and explorers on a thrilling journey that will test their physical and mental limits and strand them on a distant world, where they will discover the answers to our most profound questions and to life's ultimate mystery."

Not even the most revealing summary of the scenario, but certainly reaffirm the public interest. A quote by Ridley Scott, in an interview with Empire magazine, explains us in even fewer words: "The action takes place in 2085, before Sigourney [character Ellen Ripley, played by Weaver] ... In essence, it is about go and find out who is eventually Space Jockey. "

Once news about the production of Prometheus 2012 comes on the distribution, Ben Foster (Pandorum, The Mechanic) joining the team of actors made up until this moment, Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, and Guy Idris Elba Pearce.

We learn about the mysteries of the universe (at least on those related to "jockey") since June 8, 2012, when Ridley Scott's science fiction will come to cinemas.
