Soviet Art (Arte Soviética)

Various 20th century political systems, in Europe, created their own art, bound to the values of the system. Socialism in the USSR was one of them.

Medieval art (Arte medieval)

Medieval religious or profane works of art, both sculptures as illuminations, are artistically very valuable. There are a lot of books with exquisite illuminations, which enable us to assess the kind of life led by urban and rural societies.

O Islão é a maior religião do globo em número de fiéis, aproximadamente 25% da população mundial. Dispersa-se do Norte de África ao Sudeste Asiático. Os vários povos possuem sensibilidades artísticas diversas.
