Russian paintings by Andrei Rublev (ca. 1360-1430)

The Russian Orthodox Church considers the monk Andrei Rublev (ca. 1360-1430) as a saint. He lived most of his life on the outskirts of Moscow in the Monastery of the Trinity - St Sergius (Cultural Heritage).

He painted several icons and frescoes.
