Tivoli

The town of Tivoli (Tibur superbum the Aeneid, VII) is famous for its mountain scenery of mid-altitude, the waterfalls of the River Aniene, a tributary of the Tiber, and the palace known as Villa d'Este, which belonged to cardinal Hippolyte II.


A cidade de Tivoli (Tibur superbum da Eneida, VII) é famosa pela sua paisagem montanhosa de média altitude, quedas de água do rio Aniene, afluente do Tibre, e pelo palácio denominado Villa d'Este do cardeal Hipólito II.
