I'm the type of breastfeeding Mama that would nurse my baby uncovered in front of the president. It's a natural extension of my baby - it's how I feed my baby and when my baby is hungry it's time to eat.
I also understand that the breast has been sexualized in this society. I personally can very clearly see the difference between a sexual breast and a feeding one. They are two entirely different things.
I am very anxious to try the Baby Bond - I would never be interested in using a bulky shield type of thing. I don't wish to cover & I think the Baby Bond will allow for just the right amount of coverage for eating out or visiting outside of my comfort zone.

BabyBond Flex is worn like a sash, functioning like a nursing top. Nurse from the top of your shirt. Separate the layers of fabric to achieve latch on. Double panel keeps breast covered above & below. Belly & back remain covered with your own shirt. Removable 9 x 12″ double layer terry velour burp cloth. Able to attach any cloth or wear without cloth attached. Stores in matching pouch.
BabyBond Couture is adjustable creating a custom fit as your body changes after baby arrives. A hybrid between nursing top and belly band, it can be worn to nurse from the top or the bottom of your shirt so it works with your entire wardrobe. When worn like a sash, it functions like a nursing top. When worn like a belt, it functions like a belly band. Rolls up into self-storing pouch.
All are 100% Cotton. Machine washable. Several colors available in each style. I chose the Original in black.
I haven't been able to nurse with the Baby Bond yet, but I have tried it on with a baby in it and I was able to see how it will function and can tell you that it is the only type of nursing cover I would feel comfortable using.
