Mataram Nabot (I Reis XXI, 13) do mesmo modo.
Joshua (VII, 25) indicates that Achan was stoned to death in the valley of Achor for theft. Killed Naboth (I Kings XXI, 13) in the same way. Attributed to the Old Testament to cases of adultery. In Leviticus (XX, 10) 'if a man commits adultery with a married woman (...) will be punished by death. " There are several situations in Deuteronomy (XIII, 10), Kings (XII, 18), II Chronicle (X, 18), Acts of the Apostles (XIV, 19). Jesus Christ (John VIII, 7) said before the scribes and Pharisees accusation of a woman caught in the act, "one who is pure cast the first stone." The Koran does not mention stoning as a punishment, but in some countries with Islamic law justify the accounts of the life of the Prophet Muhammad.
