Sloth - a capital vice (preguiça)

For Christians, this vice or deadly sin is known as sloth (Latin “pigritia”), acedia (Latin “acedia”) or Latin “desidia”, although there are slight differences in meaning between these terms.


Este vício ou pecado mortal para os Cristãos recebe as designações de preguiça (latim “pigritia”), acédia (latim “acedia”), ou latim “desidia”, embora haja ligeiras diferenças de significado entre estes termos.
