Flings Bins ~ GIVEAWAY!!! ~ Ends 3/14

Flings Bins are totally cool . I'm thinking birthday parties at the park, bbq at the beach, camping trips. Anyplace there isn't a trash or recycling bin.

Like recycling, I can think of so many times that I have hosted or been a guest at a party or event that wasn't in a home setting, where everything gets thrown away. Everything including recyclables. Thrown away because there wasn't a place to sort them. I don't know about you, but it kills me to throw something away I know will end up in a landfill that could have easily been recycled and made into something new.

I haven't had a chance to use my flings yet, but we have a birthday coming up in April and we normally do it at the park. I will be trying out my Flings then.

I have set one of them up and it's such a simple yet cool design. It's a fun and colorful drawstring trashbag, with a strong cardboard ring around the top to hold it open, then down each side is a folded strip that reminds me of a single panel of metal window blinds or maybe like a metal tape measure. The thin metal strip bends and when unfolded pops up and holds it's shape , keeping it standing upright. Pretty neat ... why didn't I think of that??
