Aos 13 anos (1425) ouve vozes do Arcanjo São Miguel, de Santa Catarina e de Santa Margarida. Com 17 anos (1428), quando o exército inglês cercou Orleães, consegue alistar-se na tropa real na cidade de Vaucouleurs.

At 13 (1425) hears voices of the Archangel St. Michael, St. Catherine and St. Margaret. With 17 years (1428), when the English army besieged Orleans, can enlist in the army in the royal town of Vaucouleurs.
